Engagement insights help you understand the receptiveness of the employees with respect to the particular engagement drivers.
The important thing to note before analysing the engagement insights is to ensure that you’ve selected the right engagement survey, the precise cohort (learn cohort creation from here) and are on point with how you wish to split the data, in addition to, of course, the correct time range.
Next, the bar graph on the left-hand side plots the engagement drivers against their respective percentage score. This showcases the overall receptiveness of the participants in correspondence to individual drivers (from the selected cohort) measured on the basis of the cumulative ratings every driver garners.
Next, the box on the right-hand side also showcases the same information on the score of the engagement drivers but additionally, highlights the precise month when the survey took place, as well.
Finally, in the bottom screen, all the drivers are listed with their respective overall score (one displayed in the bar graph) and the score distribution.
Clicking on a driver will take you to a new window comprising 3 new sections. The objective of this is to give admins visually detailed analytics into the employees' responsiveness to the engagement drivers.
Here, the left-hand side chart, which can be modified basis the timeline you select, showcases the time of the year when ratings were attributed to the given driver while the right-hand side chart showcases the composition of each group and the respective rating given by them, for the said driver. Hovering on any of the bars will also show you the break-up of the rating attributed to all the ranges.
The most important parameter for viewing these graphs is the “Split by” option just before the bar graph (highlighted in the image above). This provides three different options for splitting your data.
These are by,
- Department
- Location
- Designation
Using this split by options, you can not only split your overview drivers data but also individual drivers data to gauge employee responsiveness against multiple categorisations. Each of these options consist of some constituents (which you’d have created) such as the different departments or locations from where your employees work out of, which will be shown on the bar graph along with the split of the rating among the various constituents.
Below is an easy to visualise example demonstrating "split by department".
